Monaco, Monte-Carlo

We were in Monaco for a brief day. A phrase to describe this country is ” Cars and Coffee”, except the coffee part. Filipp very much enjoyed that part of our stay! Their traffic was like a show. Mercedes, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Porsche, Rolls Royce, and Bentley casually lined up at a traffic light.

Like any other place in Europe, the architecture was jaw dropping. There was a pink building with sea clams as balconies!!

Heads up! Look for these little tunnels, they contain elevators that can take you to any level of the city. We didn’t know about this and wandered on a side of a road looking for stairs.

We took a bus from Nice to get to Monaco and it was only 1,50 Euros!!  It was a 40 minute drive on some what bumpy roads so if you are lucky, grab a seat! On our way back the bus was packed! It was so darling to see young men get up and offer their seats to elderly women!

If  you are in Nice and have time to spare definitely check out this place. However, we found Nice to be more alive and affordable.  But having another country under our belt for only 3 euros was too good to pass up =)
