Retro Air-Streams at Topanga

Hello everyone!

Ah, long time no see huh?! Filipp and I flew out to California for Thanksgiving and it was just the greatest thing ever! This trip was a surprise for Filipp. I bought the tickets as his birthday trip! He has never been to California but always dreamed of it, so you know, best wife ever over here, made it a reality =P He didn’t know where we would be staying or what we would be doing until we got off the plane. It was so much fun doing this!

One of  the biggest surprises for both of us was when we reached our second destination; Topanga, California. I booked a retro looking air-stream for us to enjoy in the mountains. I knew it was a reach out of our comfort zones but thought it would be just fine.. until we got there. Boy was it a treat! Nice outhouse with a chest lid and an antique wagon waiting our arrival. We laughed so hard! Never have we ever had a trip  without something like this happening. I texted our parents pictures of the place and they were wondering if we flew to my grandparent’s village back in Russia! Ha!

I am glad we spent the night there though. Since the windows did not shut all the way we woke up to fresh, chilly mountain air and dozens of humming birds!!!! So beautiful!! I am linking the place here in case you guys would ever want to get out into the wild! I’d say it was a memorable experience.
